Senior Pastor
Russell Hinds |
| |
|
|
| |
Russell Hinds - our illustrious and industrious
leader. Well - Senior Pastor actually and he's seemingly tireless in his
work. But behind every great man there is a great woman, as Russell knows,
which is why he married Kaye! She is his right hand, and he'd be lost
without her. Apart from keeping the home running - and the freezer stocked
with ice-cream to appease our pastor's penchant for the stuff, she is
heavily involved in so many ministries no one doubts that this truly is
a team effort! Russell and Kaye have three sons Clayton, Joshua and Tristan
who are all active participants in the life of the church. |

Youth Pastor
Matt Anstey |
| |
|
|
| |
Matt’s married to his beautiful wife Kirsten and they’ve just had their first child, Micaela, who is keeping them busy when their not doing church stuff. If they seem to be getting around like zombies, it’s either a big night out with the youth group, or a long night at home with little Micaela. Both Matt and Kirsten have been involved in church youth groups for the last ten years and share a real passion for young people and encouraging them to grow in their relationship with Christ. And just secretly, Matt wants to stay working with youth for as long as possible so he doesn’t have to grow up! |

Administrator
Keith Newsome |
| |
|
|
| |
"Show
me the money!" - well, he's no Tom Cruise, and the phrase goes - "Show
me your receipts!". Keith Newsome is our larger-than-life administrator.
Well - not so large, figuratively speaking. He know what he wants and
when he wants it and he knows exactly how to get it too, alright? And
if it's got GST on it, well, he's your man. Oh, and don't ask him to do
anything for you - he's far too busy and can't spare the time. If you
ask him for a minute, he'll spend the next 2 telling you no, he's too
busy - then he'll ask you what you want and spend as much time as you
need. He's really too soft for his own good. But don't tell anyone I said
so - he's got a reputation to live up to, alright? |

Outreach Pastor
Dennis Verner |
| |
|
|
| |
Dennis Verner is our Pastor for Evangelism and outreach. Dennis is responsible for working with participants on our Community Jobs Program called Gold Coast Youth Skills, which helps long term unemployed and disabled young people attain work skills and gain confidence. He and wife Veronica are expecting their first child in late July 2005. Dennis and Veronica have a passion to reach the unchurched through LOVEWORX and Christianity Explained . Though Queenslanders through and through, their support of St. George Illawarra, provides opportunity for one eyed BRONCO fans in the Pastoral Team to give a bit of flak. |
